Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Power Fence Tanzania, we supply specialized electric fencing and security systems. Due to the technical and safety-sensitive nature of these products, returns and refunds are subject to stricter conditions outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are only accepted where:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or materially non-compliant with specifications
  • The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

Strict Non-Returnable Items

  • Installed or partially installed electric fence systems
  • Energizers, batteries, or electrical components that have been connected to power
  • Custom-built or site-specific materials
  • Products altered, misused, or damaged after delivery

3. Inspection & Acceptance

  • Upon delivery, the customer must inspect and confirm condition
  • Signing the delivery note constitutes acceptance of goods as compliant
  • Any claims must be reported within 24 hours for visible damage

Failure to comply may result in rejection of claims.

4. Technical Product Disclaimer

Electric fencing equipment is safety-critical. Returns will not be accepted where:

  • Damage arises from incorrect installation
  • The system was installed by unauthorized or unqualified personnel
  • The product was used outside recommended specifications

5. Refund Conditions

  • Refunds are issued only after technical inspection
  • PowerFence Tanzania reserves the right to:
    • Offer replacement instead of refund
    • Apply a restocking fee (up to 25%) where applicable
  • Refund timelines: 7–21 business days

6. Limitation of Refund Liability

PowerFence Tanzania shall not be liable for:

  • Installation costs already incurred
  • Labor or third-party technician fees
  • Losses resulting from system downtime

7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
